Perceptions continues Fern Orchestras Plant Series being the worlds first film for plants. Humans can also watch the film together with the plant.

The film explores the movement of light as a triptych of observations from the perspective of light, man and plant. Spontaneous plant thinking opens up the structures of the possibilities through plants' joint intelligence.

The film premiered at the Parkkino Festival at Parainen Central Park on 26 August 2021. At the premiere, Fern Orchestra's plants were played live with their human members.
